“Spilt Milk” is run by the Gastric Reflux Support Network New Zealand for Parents of Infants and Children Charitable Trust (GRSNNZ).

Spilling in infants is normal and many infants will go through a period of increased crying. The prescribing rates for infants who may have previously been treated for gastro-oesophageal reflux have decreased over recent years. GRSNNZ is therefore focussed particularly on providing a website for parents of infants who spill and/or are irritable as we agree that not all children with spilling/irritability/GOR/GORD need medical treatment. However, the lack of a diagnosis means that some families have not been accessing GRSNNZ’s services and support.

GRASP ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Gastric Reflux Association For The Support Of Parents/Babies (GRASP) was a support group that has ceased to operate and was a great source of information and support from people who had experience in this area. When GRASP closed in May 2001 they forwarded a pack to health professionals to help them support and inform families with babies/children with gastro-oesophageal reflux. GRSNNZ has since taken over some of the previous role of GRASP.
